El sabio Patanjali insisti\u00f3 en que estas ocho pr\u00e1cticas se practiquen en un orden espec\u00edfico, y no se debe omitir ninguna de ellas, ya que cada una abre el camino a la pr\u00e1ctica posterior.<\/p>\n<p>Estas ocho extremidades o 8 brazos del yoga se conocen como Ashtanga Yoga. ASANA<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Las ramas del \u00e1rbol son las Asanas o posturas de yoga. Unas crecen largas, otras de lado, otras en zigzag, todas distintas pero con la misma funci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Las asanas producen firmeza, salud y ligereza y proporcionan un mayor equilibrio entre cuerpo, mente y espiritu. PRANAYAMA<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>De las ramas nacen las hojas, que suministran el aire necesario para crear la energ\u00eda<br \/>\nque todo el \u00e1rbol necesita. PRATYAHARA<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Las ramas y troncos del \u00e1rbol se hayan cubiertxs por una corteza. Sin esta protecci\u00f3n el \u00e1rbol no podr\u00eda desarrollarse. Esta cubierta preserva la energ\u00eda que fluye dentro del \u00e1rbol, desde las hojas a la raiz.<br \/>\nLa corteza se corresponde con Pratyahara, el viaje de los sentidos hacia dentro, desde la piel hacia el nucleo del ser.<\/p>\n<p>Consiste en desconectarnos de la informaci\u00f3n externa y centrar toda nuestra atenci\u00f3n<br \/>\nen lo que sucede en nuestro interior, tanto a nivel f\u00edsico como mental.
